The Tusnad Carnival in pictures
Below an attemt to ‘reconstruct’ the Tusnad carnival through some of the few pictures I’ve got so far…
One of the great places in Tusnad we weren’t even able to visit: Solyomko/Piatra Soimului above Tusnad
The first guests checking the accommodation I had reserved in Tusnad 😉
10 Euro/day, all exclusive!
Looks like the carnival pre-event in the dining room of the hostel
The guy with the sunglasses just dropped in at the party and offered the organiser 15 camels and an oil well in exchange for 3 female participants! Thanks you, effendi, this helped me a lot to increase the profit rate of the event!
Saint-Ann’s Lake near Tusnad
\Women-power workshop – whatever that means.. 😉
Aliens among us!
Bulgarians among us as well!
Mascha (left) and her makeup victim Silvana
Hide your face to show your true face!
The last mohicans of the Carnival on Tuesday or so
A great dish (pumpkin spread) made of baked pumpkins that none of us wanted to eat the day before. Add some cheese and you’ve got some tasty recycled food!
Not only pretending to listen carefully to Claudian’s and Filipa’s workshop on deep ecology! It has been revelatory (too me at least)
She didn’t pretend to listen! When she got bored of us humans, Lena simply occupied herself a piece of carpet and took a nap.
The pretty mountains that surround Tusnad Bai. Except 1 trip to Saint Ann’s Lake, whe actually ignored the landscape around us. “Too many” nice people when looking around…
