The film of the day for me: SONITA – about a teenage Afghan refugee girl and amateur rapper in Iran that frees herself with the help of the filmmaker(!) from forced marriage. She simply made a song about forced marriage and the filmmaker made a videoclip out of it in 2015. As a result of her success on Youtube, Sonita soon got a scholarship in the US where she lives today…
